The Desert Night Run

13 March

take in the city's natural landscape with the latest edition of the Desert Night Run at Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve. Al Marmoom boasts incredible sceneries made up of desert dunes, 10km of lakes, 204 species of native birds and 158 species of migratory birds. During this meet, avid runners can sign up for a 2.5km, 5km or 10km distance along the forests, lakes and shrubland on paths lit by the stars. Run with friends, family, coworkers or merely push your fitness limits at this community run.

Meydan Horse Racing

14 March

Dubai’s highly competitive horseracing season presses on in March at the Meydan Racecourse. Middle East Film & Comic Con

Middle East Film and Comic Con is the place where you can let your inner-superhero-self free. Join many in their favourite character costumes as they head to Dubai World Trade Centre for three days of film and comic fun. There's entertainment all day long, signing sessions, meet and greets, guest appearances, workshops, an exhibition featuring more than 400 vendors, live music, DJs and competitions. Sleeping Beauty at Dubai Opera

Ramadan 2019

Dessert Road Runners Iftar Challenge

Race through the charming sceneries of Mushrif Park post-Iftar this Ramadan with Desert Road Runners. The Iftar challenge features a 5km distance and a 2km path for juniors, open to regular and neophyte racers of all ages. All junior runners and existing Desert Road Runners club members can join this community run for free with advanced registration. Located in Mirdif, Mushrif Park is a playground home to sprawling greenery, scattered lakes and family-friendly entertainment.
